Lindsey Phillips

Lindsey Phillips, is the Director of External Affairs for Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. Founded in 1912, Devereux operates a comprehensive array of services as a national behavioral healthcare organization, positively impacting the lives of tens of thousands of individuals and families every year.

As the Director of External Affairs, Lindsey guides all aspects of supporting access to care, including marketing, communications, business development and admissions functions for the continuum of programs throughout Florida and is directly responsible for government relations and community engagement for one of the nation’s leading nonprofit behavioral healthcare organizations.

Operationally, Lindsey provides oversight of the expansion of services in support of individuals with a combination of intellectual/developmental disabilities and psychological disorders and has led the strategic planning efforts to establish a therapeutic program in support of sexually exploited youth by forging key partnerships with government agencies and community organizations and ensuring the organization remains an essential contributor in a systemic response to combatting one of the nation’s fastest growing criminal industries.

With over 25 years of direct experience in behavioral healthcare, she is relied upon as a subject matter expert of specific services and areas of policy supporting children and adolescents and serves on the board of the Florida Behavioral Health Association and multiple child welfare service provider committees throughout the state of Florida. Lindsey earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a masters in exceptional education from the University of Central Florida and she remains passionate about supporting many of the most underserved and vulnerable members of our communities.
