Eddie Hadley

Eddie Hadley serves as a member of the External Affairs Team for Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida, part of the national non-profit behavioral healthcare organization providing a continuum of services in support of children and adolescents with a variety of needs. With over 20 years of experience in behavioral healthcare, Eddie is directly responsible for facilitating and strengthening partnerships with state agencies and healthcare organizations entrusting the care of youth within the Devereux continuum of programs throughout Florida.

Eddie began his career and life’s purpose of service to others immediately upon high school graduation when he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving four years on active duty and six years on reserve duty. In addition to his career path in operations and external affairs roles supporting children and adolescents with Devereux Florida, Eddie simultaneously pursued his calling as an ordained minister, serving in this capacity as a lead and guest minister with several faith-based organizations, including a leadership role in the Union Baptist Association as the Dean of Christian Education, which he was appointed in 2015.

Through each of the roles Eddie has served in a professional capacity, in addition to his community involvement on a more personal journey, a consistent opportunity has presented him to serve his passion for mentoring youth and young professionals as a positive male role model with a specific emphasis of supporting minority males in their pursuit of success in a professional and leadership capacity. Eddie is a contributing member of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative, providing thought leadership in the ongoing development of a multi-year, organizational transformation committed to racial justice and equity as an employer and as a healthcare provider.

Eddie obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Keiser University and is currently studying to receive his degree in biblical studies at South Eastern University.

He prides himself as a person of integrity and discipline, with a passion for supporting people of all ages, gender, race, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
