Lee formed Lynch Advocacy Solutions, LLC in October 2014 after spending more than two decades as an agency and in-house communications expert. Her many years of experience extend across advocacy, writing, public relations, public affairs, issues management, marketing, and journalism.
Throughout her career she has had the pleasure of serving clients of all sizes in many different industries and leading teams of up to 25 people to develop and implement programs, initiatives and campaigns. Above all, she loves to be able to do great work for her clients and bring other specialists into the fold to ensure her clients’ goals are met or exceeded every time.
For more than a decade, Lee led the Edelman Alliances group – a dedicated team of experts she founded that engaged hundreds of influencers and third-party organizations to find unique ways to collaboratively link organizations, corporations and governments to achieve mutual goals.
Under her leadership, the Edelman Alliances group counseled and carried out policy, public affairs and market shaping campaigns for corporate, trade association, NGO, governmental and coalition clients in a broad array of sectors and industries such as healthcare (including provider, insurance, pharma and biotech products, medical devices, testing and diagnostics, mental health, accreditation, patient safety and medication adherence, and workplace, public and preventative health); nutrition, food and product safety; social justice; energy; environment; mining; consumer goods; financing and financial services; and transportation and infrastructure.
She also played a lead role in developing and executing stakeholder strategy for issues- based campaigns both in the U.S. and globally. Lee created Edelman’s Global Health Advocacy Initiative – which helped establish and enhance relationships with nearly 100 top global organizations, and developed and co-led the influencer mapping and engagement offering for the Global Corporate Practice.
Prior to joining Edelman, Lee worked for two different WPP companies, Hill & Knowlton and Ogilvy Public Relations. During her tenure with Hill & Knowlton, Lee served as the deputy practice leader in the Health Policy practice, where she played an integral role in re- establishing the group and quadrupling its staff size.
Lee is a trained professional moderator, and has a master’s degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in speech communications/mass broadcasting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She sits on the Physician Assistant Foundation Board of Trustees and volunteers on various National Consumers League committees.
