Gregory A. Pecchia, DO, FACOFP

Gregory A. Pecchia is a 1983 graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his general medicine training at Phoenix General Hospital (now John C. Lincoln Hospital) and is certified in Family and Geriatric Medicine. He is currently employed as a staff geriatrician and Sr Director; Academic Innovation and Telehealth, Western University of Health Sciences/COMP-CNW (California/Oregon).

Dr. Pecchia is past President of the Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons of California and is also an Associate Faculty Preceptor with the Family Medicine residency training program at Downey Regional Medical Center in Downey, California. He is Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine with Western University of Health Sciences and the USC Keck Graduate School of Medicine (Eastern Campus).

Dr. Pecchia was co-founder and Past President of Family Practice Physicians, Inc. and is a past Chair of the Department of Family Practice at St. Joseph Hospital, both in Orange, California.

His interests and experience include 25 years of office and hospital applied medical informatics, telemedicine and social networking in his own private medical group practice, in a large academic group practice as well as in the role of consultant and hospital department/medical staff informatics technology council chair.
